Travel the USA

After the country re-opened after Covid-19, we are
"On the Road Again."
Please enjoy the 'armchair travels' and feel free to make comments.

In September of 2019, we made the
'epic' trip to the east coast for the first birthday of our grandson Evan.
Since Evan's birthday is in September, we decided to join a 29 day RV Caravan for the New England fall color. The tour starts in Maine and ends in Niagara Falls. All told, we did about 12,000 miles with the new truck and trailer.

Branson - The trip that "didn't"

We had a plan to go to Branson, Missouri on an RV Rally
for the opening of the Christmas music program.
That just didn't happen.
I (Linda) had some health issues before we left, and thought they had cleared up, so we left, stayed in Flagstaff, went to Albuquerque and the issues flared up again so we decided to return home.
Before we did we enjoyed the Old Town Albuquerque

It's always fun to see the interesting art works.

HEADING HOME
by way of Page Arizona
We took an extra day due to the high winds.

We always enjoy seeing Glen Canyon Dam

The water level has gotten SO low!

This ramp has been open only to kayaks and canoes for quite some time.

We wondered how far down the water was at the end of this ramp.
( it was probably 50 - 100 feet down)

That's a long pull for this kayaker to get up to his car!

Among the things that "didn't work" were campground reservations.
Apparently the internet along with certain phone connections just "didn't work" and we had to scramble to find an RV site.

but the view were quite pretty!

even with impending storms.

Well,
Maybe we'll get to see the Branson Shows next year.
