Travel the USA

After the country re-opened after Covid-19, we are
"On the Road Again."
Please enjoy the 'armchair travels' and feel free to make comments.

In September of 2019, we made the
'epic' trip to the east coast for the first birthday of our grandson Evan.
Since Evan's birthday is in September, we decided to join a 29 day RV Caravan for the New England fall color. The tour starts in Maine and ends in Niagara Falls. All told, we did about 12,000 miles with the new truck and trailer.

Harvest Host Camping

 Sentinel Alpaca Ranch

The Harvest Host program lets you stay overnight "for free"
but you buy a product from them or make a donation.

We had stayed with them a couple of years ago but they had moved.
The only problem was a rough 10 mile dirt road to reach the ranch,
and it shook a lot of the screws out of various parts of the trailer.

Oh yes- also, the toilet paper all came off the roll.

These cute critters come in almost every color.

So many fires have caused very smoky skies on this trip.
Sunsets and sunrises are really strange!

The Alpaca Store was in the nearby town of
Red Lodge Montana

When we drove through, we discovered it was the
Annual Classic Car and Show and Crusin Drag Races.

We couldn't stay for the drag races, but it was fun
to see such a variety of the classic cars.
