Travel the USA

After the country re-opened after Covid-19, we are
"On the Road Again."
Please enjoy the 'armchair travels' and feel free to make comments.

In September of 2019, we made the
'epic' trip to the east coast for the first birthday of our grandson Evan.
Since Evan's birthday is in September, we decided to join a 29 day RV Caravan for the New England fall color. The tour starts in Maine and ends in Niagara Falls. All told, we did about 12,000 miles with the new truck and trailer.

Opryland Hotel - Nov. 7, 2019

We had a rainy, cold day and
the Opryland Hotel has lovely indoor sightseeing.
It rivals any in Las Vegas, but is the largest non-gaming hotel in the US.

7 football fields of glass to cover the 9 acres of gardens.

Waterfalls, water parks  and riverboat tours

The Delta - a huge waterway in the atrium of this hotel-
hard to believe that some of our Santa Clara River water as well as the
Hawaiian waters
are part of the river in this hotel.

Topped off the evening with a dinner show.
The next night we were able to get tickets to the
Grand Ol Opry!
