Today was clear and pretty -
a good chance to drive to the top of Prospect Mountain.
It is known mainly for a short drive, hiking trails
and a 100 mile view of the area surrounding Lake George.
We met some locals who told us that the peak color is a couple of weeks from now.
A cog railway was build in 1875, but this is all that remains.
Pretty color, even if not the peak yet.
We found a cute restaurant - good food and good decorations
This is the Dockside restaurant and it is on a different lake- Glen Lake
This area has so many lakes!
and, of course, a cute cat decoration is my fav!
