We will be parked here for a month while we contribute at the Women's Center.
Neat, Clean and very SAFE!
(i.e. a "gated community")
Learning the ropes - good restaurants -
a typical Sunday after church activity.
Non typical is our visit to the nearby cemetery
because there is no great walking area along this section of the
"Miracle Mile", a commercial road listed on the National Historic Register.
There is a large section for Veterans - this one from the Spanish American War.
The Jewish section was interesting, and has pretty monuments.
Monday
We always start each day with devotions.
We will be painting the hallways of the
office/kitchen/classroom building.
Starting by removing everything from the walls-
Taping
and painting.
Good to be working with an efficient team.
Women and children occupy this building for classes, counseling, and meals.A pretty good chorus of strollers, mamas, and other ladies all working to get back to a 'normal life'
(whatever that means!)
Praise God for the facilities and all the progress that is being made!
A beautiful facility housing those who need help, and all centered on Christ's Love
