Our little "Izzy"
We have had this little Isuzu for some time, but decided to join the Jeep 'club' for some of their easier trails.
Barracks Trail ends at the east end of Zion and starts near Coral Pink Sand Dunes.
So many showed up for this trip - we had about 26 jeeps on this trip.
Beautiful views of the 'back' side of Zion
Pretty scenery and funny how the roads look pretty smooth,
but gives a fun ride.
This is a popular train and we had lots of company of ATV's, UTV's etc.
Sometimes we would get a group of 16 of 'them' passing the 26 of 'us'!
Dropping down from the ridge, crossing the water leads us to a beautiful lunch spot.
After lunch, the 'trail' crosses the East Fork of the Virgin River about
30 times.
Some didn't quite make it,
but then part of the fun is being able to get them out of a jam.
each crossing has some beautiful scenery
How would you like to have that for a beautiful, remote ranch??
The trip ended at Mt. Carmel Junction.
A beautiful day and lots of fun and great people.
